The internet offers many tools for communicating your ideas effectively. One of the leading tools available is YouTube. YouTube offers one of the most effective video editing tools with free music and clips.
In trying to communicate the essence of your idea, expensive video editing is troubling for indie designers. However, YouTube’s video editor is so useful and free. Before using the editor please review the fair use and copyright info here.
YouTube describes Creative Commons as the following:
Creative Commons licenses provide a standard way for content creators to grant someone else permission to use their work. YouTube allows users to mark their videos with a Creative Commons CC BY license. These videos are then accessible to YouTube users for use, even commercially, in their own videos via the YouTube Video Editor.
As a graduate student, I was often required to make presentations to the classroom, the YouTube video editor can improve presentations and is exportable to PowerPoint. In refining the development of my book “The Home Run That Tours America,” the YouTube video editor also allowed me to create a musical expression of the book’s essence.
By using the Creative Commons feature of YouTube, editors can improve their presentations and refine their ideas to communicate a project. For instance, please review the video I created using YouTube’s video editor:
