Writing development

Marie credits the knowledge gained from writing instruction books with helping her polish and improve her fiction writing.

“I have always had great ideas and could imagine great stories, but I needed guidance to make my stories more reader-friendly,” she says. “This guidance came from books by writers like Noah Lukeman, David Mamet, Donald Maass, Christopher Vogler, James Wood, Evan Marshall, Robert McKee, E.B. White, and Syd Field. These books helped me make my writing more approachable.”
